Painting Guide for Battletech Miniature

I have completed a short PDF painting guide for a Battletech wargames miniature, mostly using Games Workshop Foundation paints. The PDF includes photos and comments through the various stages of painting. The Archer mech is used for the Classic Battletech game but the guide could be used to help any painting technique or genre of miniature hobby.

Thanks for the tutorial. I’ll have to try that trick with the white dots. I really like the look it gives a mech and it seems pretty simple.

This tutorial is excellent! To make it as a comic book makes it so interesting to read! Great work !

Thanks for the comments! I was getting worried no one would leave a note.

Very nice tutorial! I use a more drybrush-centric style, but this gives me some things to try, mainly the additional painted highlighting..

I uploaded my copy of your old Ostscout jeweling tutorial to google video to show someone on Battlecorps. I couldn’t find it on your site and direct links from old forum posts all came up 404. If you’ve got a problem with it, let me know and I’ll take it down.

No problem. Thanks for finding it for me, I had actually lost the old video and will upload it again.
